About Jungle Smokes Hand Rolled Cigars

Jungle Smokes are made in a tiny Honduran village whose expert cigar makers have handed down the tradition of hand rolled cigars for centuries. The cigars are made from three types of tobacco that is grown and harvested by hand, providing employment for many villagers.

Jungle Smokes are the only hand rolled cigars made from the original tobacco cultivated by the Mayan Indians hundreds of years ago. This is the identical plant that Columbus found in 1502.

The time consuming process that takes these cigars from growing and harvesting to a finished product includes drying, cleaning, veining, and hand rolling by trained experts. After rolling, the cigars are bundled, dried in the sun, and then hermetically sealed to harness their freshness and prepare them for shipment.
